Costa Rica Yacht Charter

When it comes to unspoiled beaches, pristine jungles and leading eco-tourism, there is no country like Costa Rica. The national and marine parks are the country’s greatest treasures, with one-third of the country protected by the Costa Rican Authorities. Offering a spectacular range of landscapes, its stunning coastlines provide a blend of private reserves, local villages and untouched beaches and bays. Ideally explored by water, its unique flora and fauna will surely captivate yacht charterers of all ages. Further inland, its verdant and lush jungles, teeming with rare wildlife, glistening waterfalls and tall mountains offer plenty of space for hiking, trekking and more. Costa Rica is the perfect charter destination with a warm and balmy tropical climate for the majority of the year.

Isla Tortuga

Arguably one of the most tranquil destinations in all of Costa Rica, the island of Tortuga is home to beautiful white-sand beaches surrounded by green palm trees and thick rainforest. A protected bird sanctuary, see how many species you recognise as you kayak through its extensive mangroves. Afterwards, why not cool off by snorkelling through the crystalline waters, teeming with coral reef, tropical fish and even dolphins.

Manuel Antonios

The most visited national park in Costa Rica, it is arguably one of the most beautiful and varied areas in all of the country. Among the smaller parks, it is filled with stunning beaches, dense rainforests and tropical wildlife. Expect to see everything from sloths to iguanas and armadillos while trekking across the Perezoso Trail. Don’t miss out on snorkelling by its spectacular offshore coral reef.

This is the place to try your hand at fishing. One of the best fishing spots in the world, keep an eye out for blue marlin, sailfish and mahi-mahi. Afterwards, head ashore and enjoy a private tour through the lush rainforests, where you can see some of the many waterfalls or raft down the Pacuare River. Who knows, you may even see the reclusive American crocodile.
